After last weeks "Where did my module go?" post, I thought that I should write a "Tips and Tricks" post in which I create a module to quickly browse to the Kentico Developer's Guide (which I often use).
To do this go to the Site Manager and add a new Module like follows:
When you go to the CMS Desk you will see the newly created "Developer's Guide" module added as a tab.
There, now you have quick access to the guide without having to leave the CMS!
I recently migrated one of our websites to 5.0 and I was asked to add a new module to the Tools section. So I basically approached it like I was used to in the 4.x days and it became clear to me that the setup of the modules in 5.0 has somewhat been changed. So for all my fellow module developers take a look at the screenshots below to get an impression of the changes.
