One of the new features in Kentico 7 is the possibility to subscribe to reports. This can be extremely useful if you want to give your customers insights in statistics without having them to login in the CMS. In this tip I will briefly demonstrate the steps needed for adding a subscription.
One of the new features in Kentico 7 is the possibility to subscribe to reports. This can be extremely useful if you want to give your customers insights in statistics without having them to login in the CMS. In this tip I will briefly demonstrate the steps needed for adding a subscription.
Step 1: Find the report and subscribe
Right click on any graph or report to open the context menu and click on the subscribe option.
Kentico also provides a "Subscribe" button in the header of the report view.
Step 2: Configure the subscription
The configuration dialog allows you to specify the receiving e-mail, subject of the e-mail, time range of the data that should be send and the interval between sending the subscription e-mails. Optionally you can also add a K# condition.
Manage your subscriptions
You can easily manage your subscriptions from your profile ("My Desk" --> "My Profile" --> Subscriptions), reporting module (Tools --> Reporting --> Edit report --> Subscriptions) and/or via the "Click here to unsubscribe" link from the e-mail.
For more detailed info on report subscriptions, please take a look at the
